Peter Mayle wrote ‘A Year in Provence’ here, his homage to the year-round attractions of the Luberon. Now you can share my little slice of heaven. I’ve renovated a lovely self-contained wing of my 18th century Provence farmhouse, to make a stunning one-bedroom apartment of a generous size (abt 650 sq feet). South-facing French windows open onto 4 acres of garden with lavender, a variety of mediterranean plants and flowers, an alley of pine trees and an orchard. In the summer you have use of the owner’s pool, and the song of the nightingales in the plane trees overhead. In the winter you have the Luberon largely to yourself – the world-famous hill-top villages of Gordes, Bonnieux, Menerbes, etc. - the wonderful food, from truffles to foie gras, the unspoilt beauty of the Luberon National Park.You will be pleased to read that a sauna and a jacuzzi will soon be available in the main house!

| If you decide to visit the Provence AND relax, you definitely would need 2 weeks! the price for the second week is with a 10% discount.SPECIAL RATES FOR LONG TERM RENTALS!!!Did you ever consider to spend CHRISTMAS IN PROVENCE ? This is a very special atmosphere, with 'creches' in the churches, the hand-made 'santons' (figurines) , the decorated villages... A wonderful experience with fresh truffles, foie gras and other gastronomic treats! Imagine the markets, every day in a different village!Enquire for special rates for long-term rentals (minimum 4 weeks) between the months of October and March each year (except Christmas, New Year and Easter holidays). Please also note that rental periods are normally Saturday-to-Saturday (arrival 4 p.m. - departure before 10 p.m. to allow cleaning) 25% non-refundable deposit to be paid on booking (by cheque in Euros, or by bank transfer). Balance due 6 weeks in advance of your stay. All bed linen, towels, as well as after-stay cleaning, are included in the price of your holiday. Complimentary cleaning once a week for stays longer than one week. additional heating charges from beginning of october until end of april per counter.You are kindly requested to leave the studio in perfect condition and to tell me of any breakage or misfunction. A safety deposit of 500.- Euros is required on arrival - to be returned at departure after checkout and replacement of any damage. If the studio is left in bad condition, an additional charge of 50.- Euros may be retained of the safety deposit. |
