This 300-year old, fully renovated cottage is situated in the tiny rural farming hamlet of Le Bouchaud, in the heart of the Haute-Vienne, one of the three departments that make up the charming and unspoilt region of the Limousin. All prices are per week. In the cooler months electricity in excess of 10 kilowatts per day and a supply of logs for the fire will be charged at cost. Special rates are available for out-of-season long-term rentals. Details are available on request.
Alternatively, why not consider a long weekend break? Now there are daily flights all year round from Londons Stansted and Liverpool airports(www.ryanair.com) to Limoges and Poitiers (1½ hours), flying over and hiring a car is a viable and cost-effective option. The rate for a long weekend (maximum of three nights) at Birdsong Cottage is 120 (subject to availability). |
