The cottages mainly date from 1870, while the sitting room of Rose Cottage is much older. They have retained original features but with sensitive updating. Sunshine Cottage has been family owned since 1965 and Rose Cottage since 1920. Both cottages have sheltered, enclosed front gardens facing south. The beach is 5 minutes walk downhill and Padstow, on the River Camel, is less than 10 minutes drive.
