3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, sleeps a maximum of 6 Apartment in County Cork, Ireland: Our apartment in Ardbrack Heights was built in 1995 on the banks of the estuary of the River Bandon in the Scilly area of Kinsale. The large living room and dining area open onto a 24 foot south facing balcony with a splendid panoramic view of Kinsale town and marina, the two spectacular 17th century forts guarding the estuary, and the ocean. There is always something to see - yacht racing, big cargo ships, sailing lessons in small dingies, sea birds, seals and even dolphins and porpoises. The apartment has been furnished to a high standard, with continuous upgrading - a new TV with freeview satellite box, video, DVD player were installed in summer 2003 and we bought new sofas and mattresses for all beds in summer 2004. Kinsale town, famous for sailing, gourmet restaurants and art galleries, is a 10 minute walk down the hill - but probably 15 minutes back up the hill unless you're very fit! The Spaniard pub and Man Friday restaurant are only a 5 minute walk away!
