Three beautifully converted, listed properties surrounded by countryside. Three fascinating Grade II listed historic buildings. A lovely 15th century Ancient Barn and a 17th century Old Stables are part of a medieval farmstead. They sleep up to 5 and 7 respectively with the option of renting a medieval Bee House with two additional beds. The Weaver's Cottage is a mile up the road. English Tourism Council four star rated, they all offer original features (old woodwork, beams and flagstones) with every modern comfort. Two are in pretty, unspoilt countryside close to the delightful old market town of Castle Cary with its interesting shops and pubs while the third, Weaver's Cottage, is in the town itself.There are numerous places to visit, including Glastonbury (Abbey and Tor), Cadbury Camp (King Arthur's Camelot), historic houses and gardens, while the fascinating cities of Wells, Bath and Salisbury are also within easy reach.
