The panoramic views of the Almijara Sierra Park and the Torrox valley descending to the Mediterranean are breathtaking.One of the best kept secrets is the all year round climate. This most southerly part of Spain between the mountains and the sea, is said to have the best climate in Europe. It is possible, for example, to sit on the beach enjoying the sun in Winter (perhaps after golf at the new 18 hole course at nearby Algarrobo) and three hours later you can be in deep snow at the ski resort in the Sierra Nevada - Sol y Nieve with ski runs up to 3,000 metres.
