5 double bedrooms, 3 en suite and 1 communal bathroom, sleeps 10 Villa in Orgiva, Sierra Nevada, Spain: The house is in the Alpujarra region of the southern foothills of the Sierra Nevada. The Alpujarra, with the cleanest air in Europe, used to be the market garden of Granada and is extensive irrigation. As a result there is always greenery. We are about 40 minutes from both the Medterranean and Granada. The house has superb mountain views. It is cooled in the summer and heated in the winter. In spring it is like summer in the UK. In summer it is hot to very hot but insulation, air conditioning and a very large pool make it very pleasant. Autumn is again like a UK summer. Winter is like a UK spring with cool to cold nights and usually warm days. The house is warm and comfortable but you can usually lunch on the terrace in shirt sleeves or a light sweater. My children swam at Christmas but I wouldn't recomed it. From November to March skiing is only about 80 minutes drive away 6000 feet higher up the Sierra. The beds are 2.30 metres, that is 7'6', long and the double beds are 6' wide
